Domenico Teti joined Wolves as director of football earlier this year.
The Italian arrived after a spell at Al-Shabab. He’d previously worked at APOEL Nicosia, Lugano, Novara and Sampdoria.
Despite Teti only being at Wolves for a few months, he’s already being considered for a big move.
TuttoJuve report Juventus are keeping a close eye on the Wolves director of football, as one of a handful of options.
The Bianconeri want to hire a new sporting director soon. Genoa’s Marco Ottolini is in pole position but he hasn’t given his approval to the move.
Ottolini is expected to take a couple of weeks to make his final decision. As a result, Juventus are looking around for alternative options.
Wolves’ Teti is liked by CEO Damien Comolli for his linguistic abilities, he’s fluent in several languages, and experience in multiple markets. His past work in Italy is also seen as a positive.
Teti being under contract with Wolves is, however, a major obstacle.
Juve’s strategy is to first speak to Wolves, should Teti get the Turin nod. Then they can work out if the move would be feasible.
