Jürgen Klopp insisted he didn’t want to go into a management job after Liverpool, preferring to take a long break from that side of the game.
He’d given his all to Liverpool and wasn’t ready to immediately throw himself into another job of a similar nature. Indeed, he even suggested on more than one occasion that he may not return to football management at all after his Anfield success.
Instead, it was quickly announced that Klopp would be taking up a role with the Red Bull group after Liverpool. That would see him advising clubs within their network and assisting with big decisions, such as who to pick as managers.
Allegedly, all isn’t going well.
UOL in Brazil report Klopp has told people close to him that there’s two jobs he would return to management for. One of those is said to be Real Madrid and the other is the Brazilian national team.
Los Blancos could part ways with Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season, and Brazil are actively looking for a new permanent manager.
