Earlier this week, we had already covered reports from Brazil which said São Paulo’s meeting to sign Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura didn’t go very well.
It was claimed that the player’s priority is still to stay in Europe, and it’s unlikely he returns to his former club next summer.
It turns out that as journalist Jorge Nicola now features a story on his blog about Moura’s future, he names three clubs who the player could join.
The story claims the attacker is ‘willing to sign with’ sides such as Sevilla, Porto and Lazio.
It’s just not made clear if that’s the suggestion of the type of clubs he could fit into, or if they’re actually interested in his signing.
Moura reportedly knows that ‘top teams’ are out of his reach, especially because he’s been on Tottenham’s bench, so he should look for those kind of destinations in the next few years.
The 30-year-old’s contract with Tottenham expires at the end of the season, and with no expectation for a renewal, he should soon agree a contract with a new destination.
