Two months ago, Milliyet reported Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing Barış Alper Yılmaz. It was also stated Galatasaray are expecting at least €20m to sanction his sale this summer.
The attacker represented Turkey at Euro 2024, and on June 27th, Haber Sarı Kırmızı stated that Spurs had closely followed him while in action for his national team.
Speaking to Rönesans TV’s YouTube channel, journalist Ali Naci Küçük has provided a short update on Tottenham’s plans for the player, and his quotes are relayed by Haber Sarı Kırmızı.
Ali Naci Küçük makes no mention if Tottenham will make a proposal to the 24-year-old, Galatasaray or both, and he hasn’t specified the figures they plan to offer. If his claim is to be true, there will be more updates in the next few days.
Earlier this month, Haber 3 said Galatasaray will need €30m to part ways with the player in this window, which is €10m more than what was reported in May.
Barış Alper Yılmaz managed seven goals and 12 assists from 55 games for Galatasaray last season.
