According to a claim in the Italian media, Wolverhampton Wanderers could sign Juventus youngster Andrea Favilli.
The 21 year old has only just joined the Serie A champions from Serie B side Ascoli, but could be sold straight away.
Sky Sports Italia have reported, via TMW, that Wolves could have a chance to sign Favilli and that super-agent Jorge Mendes would be in the middle of any deal.
Mendes has just played his role in Juventus signing Joao Cancelo from Valencia, and the suggestion is Favilli has been brought up during negotiations.
There’s every chance someone has put two and two together because of the Mendes and Wolves connection, as happened throughout the Cancelo saga.
Favilli signed for Juventus on the 15th of June, but TMW believe the forward could now be sold for €20m to Wolves. Juventus only paid €7.5m to Ascoli for the player.
The young forward is a current Italy U21 international.
