Transfer news for Wolves signings has been thin on the ground at the end of the window, with not much being claimed across the European media about Bruno Lage’s side.

That may be about to change, however, the name involved could be one which prompts eye-rolls from the Wolves faithful, given the number of claims in the past.

The man involved is Aaron Ramsey, and Calciomercato report that a move to Wolves could ‘resolve’ itself at the last minute. That’s following reports the Welshman has turned down a move to the club in the past, as he’s also thought to have done with multiple Premier League sides including Crystal Palace and Burnley.

Calciomercato say ‘Jorge Mendes takes care of it’, and the insinuation is that the agent is managing to make progress on the deal, where others have failed before him.

Pressure has been ‘gradually increasing’ on Ramsey to find himself a new club, with Juventus wanting to see the back of the player and his back wages.

Now there’s some hope Mendes can steer the player towards Wolves.
