As these are decisive days for the future of Porto youngster Francisco Conceição, we again see Chelsea named as one of the potential destinations for him.
The winger’s release clause is going from €30m to €45m on Tuesday, so any club who’d like to sign him this summer should probably make their attempt in the coming hours.
Chelsea are said to be one of the interested sides, and newspaper Record today shares a story on the whole scenario.
The outlet claims that Jorge Mendes will gather the bids that arrive, ask Conceição to pick his favourite offer, and will only show that one to Porto.
For now, none of the interested sides made an official attempt. Besides Chelsea, the likes of Atlético Madrid, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested.
Porto aren’t expected to even consider the bids that don’t reach the release clause, as having to sell their youngster for €30m already sounds disappointing enough.
In 43 appearances for the Dragons last season, Conceição had eight goals and eight assists.
