Brighton & Hove Albion were determined to sign Olivier Boscagli in 2024, but Feyenoord put up a wall.
The centre-back was disappointed and decided against renewing his contract, leaving the Dutch club as a free agent at the end of last season. He joined Brighton for free in July.
Boscagli’s move to Brighton hasn’t quite worked out so far. He’s played three matches, and all were in the EFL Cup. Fabian Hürzeler has left him on the bench for every Premier League fixture this season.
Sabah reports Fenerbahçe could open their door for the 28-year-old in the winter market.
Domenico Tedesco is said to have requested Fenerbahçe make defensive reinforcements in January.
This is mainly because Jayden Oosterwolde is attracting serious interest from England and Italy. He’s also said to be keen on changing clubs in the next window.
Therefore, the Yellow Canaries have identified Boscagli to replace him. Their interest isn’t new as they wanted to sign him before he moved to Brighton.
It’s claimed the Seagulls are open to letting the player go out on loan in January. This may allow him to get regular minutes, unlike at Brighton.
