When the Spanish press aren’t saying Hector Bellerin to Barcelona is dead and a transfer idea that won’t be fulfilled in the foreseeable future, they’re doing the opposite.
It can be confusing.
As soon as there’s a question mark over Barcelona’s right back position, Hector Bellerin is linked. Those links then build for a few days and are then killed, often by the same media outlets who built them in the first place.
AS certainly isn’t one of the worst culprits but the Spanish newspaper on Monday have an article linking Bellerin to Barcelona. The Catalan club want a right back in January, and a rejuvenation of the position, and Bellerin would be a natural idea.
Of course, it’s incredibly unlikely. Bellerin is very happy, and Arsenal fans may well take to the streets if he was sold. The defender may wish to return to his former club one day, but he’s shown no sings of doing a Cesc Fabregas yet.
