Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told the Swedish media he’s amazed what has been written about him since joining the club. The Sweden international joined the Championship side in the summer from Serie A side Torino.
Speaking to Skanesport, Jansson said it’s great what the Leeds United fans are writing about him on social media, and thinks it’s fun. The Swede believes his move to England in the last window is going to plan at the moment, and he feels good about his game.
“They are writing about me every day and it’s crazy to read what the Leeds supporters are saying on Twitter and other social media. And it has gone well for me. I’m very pleased with the start. My game has been stable all the time,” said the Leeds United defender.
Jansson arrived in summer transfer window, but had to wait until the game with Huddersfield Town to make his league debut. Since the 24-year-old has impressed, and was named in the EFL Team of the Week for his performance against Cardiff City last weekend.
