Jack Wilshere continues to train with Arsenal as he hopes to stay at peak fitness and find a new club.

The midfielder has been without a club since his short period with Bournemouth, and has made it clear he’s eager to return to competitive football. Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are helping with that aim, as the 30-year-old takes part in Gunners training sessions.

He’s been linked to various clubs in recent weeks, including West Brom, and in Italy there’s fresh hope over a move to Serie B side Como 1907.

Como City report ‘the Wilshere dream has not vanished’, and it’s explained the club’s management are working to sign a free-agent for midfield. They have an option lined up, with the Englishman pushed forward as that solution, and it’s stated there’s hope ‘bureaucratic issues’ can be solved.

Since new regulations came in following Brexit, it’s not so easy for Como 1907 to recruit Wilshere, but it’s not thought to be a hopeless situation. West Brom wouldn’t have such problems.

The Italian club are ‘probably looking for a loophole’ to allow them to register the player, but things will ‘not be easy’, and part of the reason for that is put as the interest from West Brom.

Meanwhile, Wilshere will continue to train with Arsenal, waiting for some good news on his future.
