After losing the Champions League final in May, Tottenham look set for something of a rebuild this summer.
As well as looking to reshape the squad with new signings, Mauricio Pochettino seems to be keen on getting rid of several players as well. One of them could be Kieran Trippier.
The England full-back had an excellent World Cup but followed that up with a less than excellent campaign for Spurs.
Despite that, he’s been linked with several big clubs this summer, including Napoli and Juventus in Italy. And it is Juve’s interest that Calciomercato are particularly interested in today.
They report the Serie A champions remain keen on Trippier, and are looking at him as a potential replacement for Joao Cancelo. The Portuguese star is potentially on his way to Manchester City.
Trippier is in ‘pole’ to replace Cancelo but at this moment in time is out of Juventus’ reach, and that’s to do with his price tag.
Calcio say that Tottenham want between €30m and €40m for the England right-back. That’s a price Juventus consider ‘outside of market demand’ for Trippier.
Indeed, it has pushed the club to look elsewhere with them looking at Cristiano Piccini and Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian as potential alternatives.
