While the Alessio Romagnoli rumours go rumbling on, another deal is being worked out between AC Milan and Chelsea, according to the Italian media.
Mario Pasalic, who spent last season on loan at Monaco, is the man in the middle of it all, but it’s been made clear a couple of times that both the Romagnoli and the deal for the Croatian midfielder are very separate.
According to Sky Sport 24, relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, the player will be playing for the Serie A club next season with the deal ‘practically done’.
The 21-year-old will be arriving on loan without a view to buy for the Italian contingent, in a deal similar to the one that saw Marco Van Ginkel go from Chelsea to Milan for the 2014-15 season.
Pasalic made 29 appearances for the Ligue 1 side last season, playing in both the Champions League (qualifiers) and the Europa League, scoring seven goals and picking up four assists along the way.
