Serie A side Fiorentina are scouting West Ham United youngster Sead Haksabanovic, according to Expressen.
The Serbian midfielder joined the Hammers from Halmstad back in 2017 but is yet to get a real crack at the Hammers first team, making just two appearances to date.
He’s instead spent his time with the club out on loan, first joining Málaga for six months before spending the second half of last season with Swedish side Norrköping.
The 20-year-old managed one goal and five assists in 19 games during that spell with them both agreeing to extend it this summer.
He’s since enjoyed a good start to the season, bagging two goals in five Europa League qualifying games to help his side beat Liepaja.
That’s seemingly caught the eye of Fiorentina, with Expressen stating the Italian club is scouting him.
There’s no mention of how often or how long they’ve been doing so, or whether West Ham would consider a sale, just that they are keeping an eye on him.
It remains to be seen if that interest becomes something concrete in future, with it likely Fiorentina will want to see him in more than qualifying games before making that decision.
