Some weeks ago, we covered Corriere dello Sport’s report on Watford’s interest in Milan’s Fode Ballo-Toure. It now seems as if there is interest from Leeds United, and Ipswich Town also have a chance of landing the left-back.
Ballo-Toure spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Fulham, where he played only six times in the Premier League. He’s now returned to the Rossoneri and finds his future uncertain.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported that Ballo-Toure has recently rejected an offer from Besiktas.
In the meantime, Ipswich Town have been ‘offered’ the chance to sign the left-back by his agent, amid interest from both Leeds United and Watford.
The player remains keen on a return to the Premier League, even if he couldn’t quite make the cut at Fulham.
Corriere dello Sport had mentioned in the past that Milan had received a loan offer from Watford for Ballo-Toure, who was yet to make a decision about his future.
Reading between the lines, the player’s camp appear to be holding off interest from Leeds United and Watford to see if they can secure a Premier League move first.
