Manchester United are currently holding fresh talks to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who says intermediaries involved in the deal are currently in England to speak to the Red Devils.
His story claims the situation is expected to ‘evolve in the coming days’.
Despite all the stories stating Manchester United have a strong interest in Amrabat, it seems the Red Devils are still to start placing official bids for his signing.
On Wednesday morning, it was claimed by Il Tirreno that Erik ten Hag’s side are currently ‘not far’ from the €30m demanded by Fiorentina.
Developments on this case were also said to be expected in the next few days, with other reports saying the player is pretty much convinced about joining the Red Devils.
Manchester United seem to have worked on the final details to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, and everything points at Amrabat as the club’s next summer target.
Judging by Tavolieri’s new update, the Old Trafford side could be placing their official bid soon.
