Adama Traoré is in his final year of contract at Fulham and his future beyond this season remains uncertain.
The 29-year-old’s contract situation has alerted Sevilla and they have set their sights on him. That’s according to Orgullo Biri, a local outlet who report the La Liga side have made an approach to sign the Fulham player.
They’ve contacted the forward to ask about his salary demands and availability.
Traoré is a product of Barcelona’s academy and spent 11 years at the Catalan club between 2004 and 2015. He returned to the Camp Nou on loan for a short spell in 2022.
His preferred position is on the right wing and he can also operate in other attacking positions. The Fulham man’s experience in Spain, versatility, contract situation and physical strength make him an ‘interesting option’ for Sevilla.
Traoré has failed to score and contributed one assist from 12 matches for Marco Silva’s side this season. However, the Andalusian club are still interested as they feel he fits what they are looking for in an attacker.
Sevilla’s ‘interest is real’ and they have already made a move for the Spaniard. A potential move depends on the financial conditions and how the market evolves.
