Chelsea are one of the clubs keeping a close eye on FC Nordsjælland’s Mario Dorgeles.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who state Chelsea and others continue chasing the 19-year-old even though he hasn’t made a ‘big breakthrough’ yet in the Danish Superliga.
Despite this, ‘there is interest’ in the midfielder from England, where Chelsea are named as the only interested party, as well as interest from France and Spain.
It’s claimed the Blues, Lille and AS Monaco are all watching the Ivory Coast U23 international closely.
Nordsjælland took the player from Ghanian side Right to Dream Academy in the summer of 2022. He’s made 42 appearances for them so far, out of which 21 are from this season.
Over the past few years, the Danish side sold Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Simon Adingra, Andreas Schjelderup and Ernest Nuamah for relatively high prices.
With Chelsea and other clubs showing interest in Dorgeles , Tipsbladet believe he could be sold by in Nordsjælland in the next window.
The report makes no mention of whether Dorgeles is willing to change clubs in the summer, or the fee needed to take him away from Nordsjælland.
Recent claims in the UK have named Arsenal and Newcastle United as contenders, and this is relayed by Tipsbladet.
