At the weekend, Calciomercato reported West Ham United are keen on signing Juventus’ Matias Soulé.
The winger will return to the Serie A side after spending a season on loan at Frosinone, where he managed 11 goals and three assists from 36 league games.
According to Tuttosport, the 21-year-old has received requests from England, where he’s on the radar of a few clubs, with West Ham ‘above all’.
The report says the Turin club are requesting €40m for Soulé, while the Hammers value him at ‘just over half’ of it, meaning just over €20m. As well as West Ham, Leicester City, Southampton and Bayer Leverkusen like him.
The Old Lady are also working to get rid of Arthur Melo, and West Ham have been pushed forward as an option.
Julen Lopetegui admires the 27-year-old, and he wanted to sign him for Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer. Taking this into account, Tuttosport suggest it ‘might be the right time’ for West Ham to make an approach for the midfielder this summer.
Juve technical director Cristiano Giuntoli wants to place Arthur in England. The report says a ‘road leads to London’, where the Brazilian could start a new adventure at West Ham.
It feels like Tuttpsort are trying to push Arthur to West Ham because Lopetegui wanted him at Wolves in 2023.
