Just yesterday, we covered a story from Tuttosport which talked about the methods Juventus could use to sign Raúl Jiménez from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
They said the Old Lady had two options to acquire the striker. One of them was to get him on a two-year loan deal, with an obligatory buying clause at the end of the spell. The other was a swap.
The newspaper didn’t really know who Juve would offer, and claimed that Daniele Rugani and Adrien Rabiot were two names who Wolves could ask for during the talks.
Well, Tuttosport brings a new story mentioning Raúl Jiménez today, and it’s funny to see how their assumptions have now become information.
They repeat claims saying Juventus are waiting for Jorge Mendes to help in the deal, saying there are those two options to get Jiménez.
Speaking of the swap, they simply include the names of Rugani and Rabiot, as if the Old Lady were ready to put them on the table. They don’t say it was their own idea to involve them in this rumour.
Meanwhile, the option of signing Jimenez on a two-year loan is slowly being discredited, since the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be in the battle for his signing, and would give Juve no chance of getting such an agreement.
