Perhaps it’s time for our readers to pick a side when reading the stories about the future of Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa.

If you’d rather believe the Italian press, Gazzetta Dello Sport recently binned the claims that Chelsea or West Ham would be interested in the 23-year-old.

But you prefer the Brazilian media, then there are claims saying the Blues and Hammers still have a chance to get the Inter Milan player.

Globo Esporte brings a story explaining Gabigol should go to Italy this week. After his loan spell at Flamengo, he should now return to his parent club and try to sort out his future.

The website writes that both Chelsea and West Ham have ‘made approaches’ for the striker. Meanwhile, Flamengo continue to work to sign him permanently.

Of course the interest from Premier League clubs could be used by Inter Milan to raise their demands for Gabigol, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them following a player who scored 43 goals in 2019.
