Porto winger Yacine Brahimi has refused to comment on his potential transfer to Chelsea.
In a marketing event held by one of his sponsors, the player talked to journalists and was asked about alleged negotiations.
O Jogo have covered the chat, and being the newspaper who consider the transfer closest to being done, they now insist on that idea.
They say Brahimi has “dribbled the situation” because of the fact that he is “still” a Porto player.
“I can’t talk about it, those who take care of these matters are my representatives,” Brahimi said.
Then he changed the subject: “Truth is we had the objective of achieving many trophies, especially the league, and we ended up badly, after losing the Taça de Portugal on penalties. What is left is to learn from mistakes, work to win in the future.”
O Jogo reiterate that Brahimi is in negotiations to join Chelsea, but don’t seem to have any updates about the talks.
The Portuguese newspaper are going to be quite disappointed if it all falls to pieces.
