There continues to be multiple reports from Spain regarding Arsenal interest in Guido Rodriguez.

The claims around the 27-year-old midfielder have now been around for over a week, and there’s insistence in Spain that Arsenal interest is real and, if an offer hasn’t been made to Real Betis already, that one is quite possibly on the way.

AS now report there’s also insistence from England over Arsenal interest, which is presumably the English sport media following on from what was said in Spain first. For a Real Betis audience, AS then go on to explain that despite Rodriguez being key for manager Manuel Pellegrini, the likelihood of a sale to the Gunners is very much there this summer.

Betis’ difficult economic situation means the club will have to listen seriously to any offers for their players in the current window, including those who Pellegrini and fans would like to keep, such as Rodriguez.

Should Arsenal decide to go for the signing ‘with force’ then a move can’t be ruled out. A transfer fee is estimated at ‘around €20m+’.
