It’s well known that Tottenham Hotspur have a tough challenge in the Champions League next week, as following a 1-0 defeat against AC Milan in the first round-of-16 match, they need to beat the Rossoneri with a two-goal difference to get a place in the quarter-finals.
It turns out that this quest may get a little harder now, because the Serie A giants are set to have their full force available for the game.
As reported by Sport Mediaset, Milan had Ismael Bennacer and Davide Calabria training with the squad for their latest session. That means they’re set to return in the weekend’s clash against Fiorentina and be available for the match against Tottenham.
In the outlet’s own words, the ‘infirmary is empty’ at the Serie A side, and Stefano Pioli will have more options in the squad than he had in the first leg, when those players were out.
Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who hadn’t played for Milan this season because of a knee injury, made his return at the weekend and is no longer an issue for the club.
So Tottenham must be prepared, as the Italian giants will be coming strong for that qualification.
