Manchester City allowed Patrick Roberts join Girona on loan in the summer, just months after his 18-month temporary spell with Celtic.
During the 2017/18 season, the winger made 19 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side in all competitions and scored a goal in the Champions League and registered three assists in the Scottish Premiership.
However, the Englishman has struggled to get regular playing time under his belt with the La Liga outfit this term and has played just 67 minutes across five appearances.
They claim that after his ‘incredible’ loan spell with Celtic, Roberts has ‘stagnated’ at Montilivi because he has not been included in Eusebio Sacristán’s plans.
The report even questions whether a lack of minutes on the pitch is down to bad attitude or failure to adapt at a new club, but there is still no clarity as to why the Manchester City owned player hasn’t featured regularly at Girona.
