On May 30th, we covered claims from Italy that AC Milan are looking at Jakub Kiwior after failing to sign the Arsenal player in the winter market.
The centre-back hasn’t managed to cement a place since joining the Gunners from Spezia in January 2023. Mikel Arteta mainly used him as a left-back in the recently concluded season.
As well as Milan, Juventus could consider bringing the former Spezia man back to Italy in the summer window. That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who say the Old Lady have included the Arsenal player in their target list.
The Turin club are set to appoint Thiago Motta as their new manager, and TMW say he has made a ‘specific request’ to sign the 24-year-old. The Brazilian managed him at Spezia, and would be keen to have Kiwior at his disposal at Juve.
Kiwior’s deal lasts until 2028, and the report says Arsenal need at least €20m to sanction his sale. Juve deem this to be ‘excessive’, but they believe that Arsenal could lower their demand towards the end of the summer window.
For now, Juve have a ‘strong appreciation’ for the Poland international, and they will keep an eye on his situation.
