All of a sudden, Liverpool star Alisson is ridiculously being linked with a return to Brazil.
With his former club Internacional looking for a new goalkeeper, a rumour in social media said the player could make a comeback there.
Now outlet Revista Colorada went after this story, and managed to speak to his agent Zé Maria about the situation.
The representative obviously made it clear that the move isn’t happening, with Alisson staying at Liverpool for now.
“There’s nothing. There’s been no contact. It’s impossible at the moment,” Zé Maria told Revista Colorada.
Alisson is currently injured, and stayed out of the national team squad which will be playing England and Spain.
Because Brazil have a new manager, it’s crucial for him to prove himself again to try to get his starting place back.
The goalkeeper was a product of Internacional’s academy and left the Brazilian club when joining Roma on an €8m deal in 2016.
He stayed in Italy for a couple of years, and Liverpool finally decided to invest €62.5m on his signing in 2018.
Since then, he has made 255 appearances for the Reds, having won a Champions League and a Premier League trophy at the club.
