At the end of last week, Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira spoke to the Brazilian media and claimed he’d like to play for a South American side in the future.

Due to his love for Santos, the 25-year-old explained he’d like to feature for the club before the end of his career.

Andreas has now been interviewed by Eleven Sports from Belgium, and this time, he’s teased with a move back to the country where he was born as well.

The player was asked if he’d fancy moving to the likes of Anderlecht and Club Brugge, especially because he hasn’t featured for any of them yet, as he was part of PSV’s academy and started his pro career at Manchester United.

“I’m not closing the door on any club,” Andreas Pereira told Eleven Sports (via Walfoot).

“The important thing is the will to play. Of course, if Kompany or Club Brugge call me… It will depend on the project they propose to me and what they have in mind. If it’s something positive that I also have in mind, why not?”

Andreas Pereira is currently having a loan spell at Lazio, who have the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season. He claimed last week he’d like to stay at the Serie A side, but they’re still to take a decision on that. Even though he’s having regular playing time in Italy, the midfielder still struggles to get starts at the club.

His contract with Manchester United expires in 2023.
