Michael Kayode has become a key part of Brentford’s first-team this season.

The Italian struggled with some fitness worries last season. Brentford signed him permanently in the summer from Fiorentina and now he’s repaying their faith.

Andrea Ritorni, who is part of the player’s entourage at Vigo Global, has now spoken to Tuttomercatoweb about the 21-year-old.

The scout and agent hinted at the idea of Kayode leaving Brentford in the near future.

“In the future, I see him taking another step towards a top club. Not that Brentford isn’t one, but I see him even higher. He’s now thrilled with the standing he’s enjoying in the English scene. He has a world ahead of him if he continues like this.”

Ritorni also explained Kayode is enjoying life at the London club.

“He’s doing great and is having an extraordinary run. He’s now finding his best physical condition, and he’s ‘cleaning up’ his ball control.

“Having arrived in January, he made 12 appearances under Thomas Frank, a great coach. Under Keith Andrews, he also immediately found a place, starting seven out of seven games.”

The right-back is a prominent player at Brentford. He’s won Andrews’ trust, who has started him in every game in the Premier League.

Kayode is now also fitter, which is helping him play consistently. That wasn’t true last season.

Brentford have a track record of selling promising players. Due to that, it won’t be a surprise if the Italian also earns a big move in the future.

Considering they spent €17.5m to sign him permanently, any sale would have be north of that.
