Chelsea striker Armando Broja has made it clear he is aware of the difficulty of getting into the first team but doesn’t feel any pressure regardless.
The youngster returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer following a successful loan spell at Southampton last season.
He was heavily linked with a move away from the club throughout the transfer window but ended up staying as Chelsea elected to keep him around.
They did so after deciding to let Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku depart the club this summer, which at one point meant Broja was the only recognised centre-forward in the squad.
That was fixed with the late capture of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona, who is likely to be number one under Graham Potter moving forwards.
That means Broja is unlikely to see as much football at Chelsea as he did for Southampton last season, but it seems it’s not a situation he is overly concerned about, admitting he’s not one to feel the pressures of the modern-day footballer anyway.
“For me there is not much pressure because I am playing football,” Gazeta Tema report him saying.
“I have been playing football since I was 3 years old. I have no emotions. Play for fun, to win and to help the team. There is absolutely no pressure.
“I’m always in shape. I exercise every day. We know that it is more difficult to get into the Chelsea team than to play for Southampton.
“I do train every day here in Albania as well. Physically, I am fine.”
