Newcastle United star Bruno Guimarães continues to highlight his path to his first World Cup.
The latest interview given by the Magpies’ midfielder was now with Brazilian newspaper O Globo, with him speaking of the big efforts he’s been making to be a better footballer.
Bruno Guimarães now talked about the ‘hard work’ he’s put into his career so far, making it clear how proud he is to be playing at Newcastle and in a World Cup with Brazil.
“I got here due to hard work, effort and the love I have for what I do,” Bruno Guimarães told O Globo.
“I am extremely passionate about my profession and, whenever I needed it, I was never afraid to give up important things to make my dream come true. The secret is to believe in yourself, not give up and be aware that, within the whole process, you will have to give up important things to get to where you dream. Enjoy the process.”
Earlier today, we also covered another interview Bruno Guimarães gave to UOL.
There, he highlighted the huge affection he gets from Newcastle fans, and also shared his opinion on the type of player the Magpies should sign for them to continue aiming for big things in the coming seasons.
As the midfielder prepares to fly to Qatar, it’s even possible that he could win a starting place in the team.
Today, ESPN Brasil features a story wondering if Bruno Guimarães deserves the spot which is currently taken by Manchester United’s Fred, as that seems to be one of the last doubts in Tite’s head.
