Jorginho has over two years left on his contract at Chelsea and his agent, João Santos, is regularly talking to the Italian media about his client.

Last month, the midfielder’s representative admitted “we’ll evaluate in the summer”, when asked about a contract renewal with the Blues.

The 29-year-old arrived at the west London club from Napoli in 2018. He followed his former manager, Maurizio Sarri, to Stamford Bridge.

Sarri left the Premier League side a year after joining them and is currently without a job after Juventus sacked him at the end of last season.

Gennaro Gattuso’s future at the Naples club is uncertain as per reports and Sarri is rumoured to be one of the candidates to replace his compatriot at Napoli.

Santos has given an interview to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli and talked about Jorginho’s chances of returning to his former club, if they reappoint Sarri.

“Sarri again at Napoli? Football is dynamic, nothing can be excluded. If Sarri returns, they might make some attempts to bring Jorginho back too,” Santos said.

“He likes him, he’s perfect for his [manager’s] game. I don’t exclude anything.”

The Brazil-born Italy international’s agent also made the conditions clear for Jorginho to return to Serie A.

“He still has two years on his contract with Chelsea. He is a starter with the Italian national team, [and] with a good project he would return to play in Italy,” he added.
