It’s no secret that many Chelsea loanees don’t really like the way the club handles them. Without giving many chances to youngsters, the Blues keep sending players to several clubs every year, giving no chance to settle in the same place.

Now it seems that Mario Pasalic may be one of them. The 24-year-old, who’s having a good season with Atalanta, has made clear his desire to continue at the club for longer.

His wish was expressed in an interview with Tuttosport today, with the quotes being brought by Calcio Mercato.

“I changed 6 clubs in 6 years, I’m very good in Bergamo,” Pasalic told Tuttosport.

Pasalic was signed by Chelsea on a €2.5m deal from Croatian side Hajduk Spalato back in 2014, but never had a single chance to make an official appearance for the club.

He’s had loan spells at Elche, Monaco, Milan and Spartak Moscow before being sent to Atalanta on a one-year deal at the start of the season, and has 28 appearances for the club so far.

Atalanta can use their buying option and sign him for €15m at the end of the season.
