Manchester United have enjoyed a good run this season after Erik ten Hag took charge of the club in the summer.
The Red Devils went into the World Cup break with a 2-1 win over Fulham and that result has seen them climb to fifth spot, three points behind fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand.
In addition to this, Manchester United have sealed a berth in the knockout stages of the Europa League and made it to the last 16 of the EFL Cup.
The Premier League side’s summer arrivals have impressed for them this campaign and among them is Antony. The Brazil international left Ajax and made a switch to Old Trafford towards the end of the last transfer window.
Antony has made it to the Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup. AS interviewed the 22-year-old and asked him about a few topics related to Manchester United and his national team.
On his first few months in England, the winger said: “I’m feeling great. I was received by everyone in a very nice way. There are several Brazilians from the national team; [Lisandro] Martínez, who was my teammate at Ajax, and also the Portuguese players. They made it easy for me to adapt.”
AS state Manchester United have had mixed results this term. They point this out and then ask Antony whether the club are on the right track.
Responding to that, Antony explained: “We have a very strong team and a new working method with the arrival of a new coach. It is natural that the team goes through changes and adaptations. But I am absolutely certain that we can perform throughout the season and fight for the titles. We have a great group.”
