Hull City are set to complete a deal for Trabzonspor’s Abdülkadir Ömür, with an announcement expected imminently.
That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who says the player will be joining in a €5m deal that includes 50% of any subsequent sale going back to the Turkish side.
A deal has already been agreed with the midfielder also and he has already signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Hull City.
They’ve chased his signature throughout this month as they’ve looked to make use of owner Acun Ilicali’s contacts in Turkey to bolster Liam Rosenior’s squad.
He had reportedly met directly with his counterpart from Trabzonspor to negotiate the deal for Ömür, which has seemingly now being signed off and will see Hull pay €5m and the player be tied down for three and a half years.
They’re now presumably crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s on the transfer agreement, particularly given the midfielder has already signed his contract, and a transfer announcement should be around the corner.
