It’s now been a few days since the Portuguese media reported the deal between Hull City and Sporting for the transfer of Ruben Vinagre.

Even though the transfer is still to be officially confirmed by the clubs, there’s no need for fans to be worried, as newspaper Record shares a little story on that situation today.

The outlet writes that following an agreement between Hull City and Sporting, the deal will be made official before the end of the week.

It’s claimed that even though the Tigers are having a training camp in Turkey, their return to England is scheduled for Friday. That’s where Vinagre will join the squad.

At the weekend, Portuguese newspaper O Jogo brought a few details of the deal that is taking the fullback to Hull City.

It was said the English side are signing the 24-year-old on a season-long loan spell, and next year they’ll have the chance to make the transfer permanent for €15m.

The price may sound a little high for Championship clubs, but that would be related to his time playing in the Premier League.
