According to a claim in the Turkish media, Esenler Erokspor are showing interest in Hull City attacker Doğukan Sinik.
The 26-year-old looks surplus to requirements with the English club and could return to his home country during this transfer window.
Ajansspor today report on Esenler Erokspor’s pursuit for the Hull City player and they say contact has been made to sign him before next month’s transfer deadline.
It’s claimed the Istanbul side’s manager Bülent Korkmaz is keen on a reunion with Sinik following their time together at Antalyaspor. Korkmaz was recently installed as Esenler Erokspor’s new manager, and he finds himself in a relegation battle with the dreaded possibility of dropping down to the Turkish third tier.
Earlier today we covered reports that Sinik’s Hull City teammate Abdülkadir Ömür is also on the verge of returning to Turkey. The 24-year-old is said to be close to signing for Besiktas and is reportedly keen to leave the Championship club in this transfer window.
Sinik has yet to make an appearance for Hull City this season and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hatayspor.
He’s contracted to the Tigers until the summer.
