Hull City have already made Gustavo Puerta’s stay permanent, after initially signing him on loan from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.

The Colombia international played over 2,000 minutes from 31 games for the Tigers, who were successful in avoiding relegation from the Championship.

Back in April, the Hull City player publicly expressed his desire to join a big club this summer.

Fast forward to August and the 22-year-old is said to have received an offer from a club in Spain. That’s according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide a short update.

Sierra reports an unnamed La Liga side have offered €6m to the sign the midfielder but this may not be enough to convince Hull City.

The journalist adds the Championship club want more money, without mentioning their demands. There are other unnamed clubs keen on signing the player in this window, and that will be giving Hull City confidence of getting more.

Puerta is likely to leave as Sierra reports Hull City hope to find a solution in the ‘coming days’.
