It seems that Inter Milan will have to find a solution for Andrea Ranocchia to leave the club once again.

After loaning the defender to Hull City in the January window, it sounded like the player was finally saying goodbye to the Italian club, where he wasn’t having much game time. But as reported by Calcio Mercato, Ranocchia will be returning to Inter Milan at the end of the season.

They say Hull City would certainly sign him permanently if they had remained in the Premier League, but after their relegation to Championship was confirmed, they won’t make an offer for the transfer.

It’s claimed Southampton would be interested after watching Ranocchia’s good spell at Hull, and even Walter Mazzari, who was already his manager at Inter Milan, would be keen on signing him for Watford.

The Serie A side reportedly want €12m for the transfer, something described as completely affordable for Southampton and Watford.
