Marcus Thuram has impressed for Inter Milan this season, scoring eight times in all competitions.
After winning the Scudetto with Inter last season, he has now become an even more important player for the club.
It seems as if his performances have attracted attention from England, specifically from Liverpool.
Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the Anfield club have taken a liking for the France international and Arne Slot is quite keen on the player.
According to the Italian newspaper, Jurgen Klopp also had an admiration for Thuram and those around the forward know that Liverpool have liked him in the past. That appreciation from the Reds has apparently grown.
As of now, the 27-year-old has a release clause worth €85m in his deal, which runs out in the summer of 2028.
Despite that, Thuram currently has no intention of joining Liverpool or any other club. He is very satisfied at Inter and his only goal is to take the Nerazzurri to new heights under Simone Inzaghi.
Gazzetta state that he also aims to surpass his personal goalscoring tally and as of now, the Reds will have to wait. This story is splashed all over Gazzetta’s front page and could well be an attempt to hype the player and what a good job Inter Milan did when signing him.
