According to Gundem Besiktas, Huddersfield Town attacker Rajiv Van La Parra has been offered to Besiktas via agents.
It’s been well documented in the Turkish press that Besiktas are interested in signing a winger before their transfer window closes, and they’ve also been linked with moves for Everton’s Yannick Bolasie and Southampton’s Mohamed Elyounoussi in the past week.
Gundem Besiktas say transfer talks between the two clubs are set to continue in the coming days and the Super Lig side could swoop for the Dutchman. The player wasn’t part of Huddersfield Town’s latest match-day squad against Queens Park Rangers.
The 28 year old spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough and returned to his parent club last month.
However, it seems he’s not a part of Jan Siewert’s plans going forward so a move to Besiktas could be an option for him with just weeks left of the Turkish window.
Van La Parra is under contract at the John Smith’s Stadium until June 2020.
