Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo can ‘hopefully’ join Manchester United in future.

That’s according to former United man Antonio Valencia, who would love to see the Brighton star make the move to Old Trafford.

Caicedo has been one of the stars of the show at Brighton since returning from a loan spell at Beerschot in January of this year.

He quickly established himself as a first-team regular under Graham Potter and has started this season in fine form, putting in several eye-catching performances which have earned him praise from all corners.

Already being linked with a move away in the future, it’s believed that several big sides in England are keeping a close eye on his development.

Manchester United are thought to be one of them, having been linked with his signature before he moved to Brighton from Independiente in February 2021.

Whether he does move in the near future remains to be seen but Valencia would certainly like to see him at his former club.

“Hopefully Moises Caicedo can go to a big team in England,” Studio Futbol report him saying.

“He is a humble boy; he was born to be great and hopefully he can come to Manchester United.”
