Leeds United coaches, those in charge of transfers at the club, and some of the Elland Road faithful will probably be quite keen to know how Ouasim Bouy has been getting on at Cultural.

Indeed, many clubs send scouts to watch their loan players, hoping to see signs they’re ready to return to their parent club and play a meaningful role. Well, that’s been hard for Leeds United with Bouy, because he’s played a total of 54 minutes since moving to Cultural, and nothing since September.

Thanks to the statistics gatherers at Transfermarkt, it’s possible to know that Bouy has had the following run of games since some minutes against Rayo Vallecano: Not in squad, on the bench, on the bench, on the bench, not in squad, on the bench, on the bench.

And yesterday, the Leeds United loanee reappeared! Proving he’s alive and still has both legs, Bouy, a defender, played 11 minutes against CD Tenerife in a 2-0 loss. It was away from home, so at least Bouy got some winter sun on the Canary Island.

He wasn’t a disaster, getting ratings so mixed in the Spanish media it’s apparent nobody knew how to mark him.
