Bursaspor’s Head of Football Operations Hasan Parlakay has confirmed the Turkish club are interested in signing Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa in this transfer window.

Speaking to reporters at the team’s training camp in Antalya, Hurriyet have reported on comments made by Parlakay with regards to the Nigeria international: “Ahmed Musa is a player that will do a very good job for our team. He’ll improve our team, there’s no doubt about that. But realistically, we don’t have any chance to sign him permanently.

“We believe with the help of these players he’ll settle easily. We are hoping to give our fans wonderful news regarding this transfer in the future.”

Signed by Leicester City from CSKA Moscow last season, Musa hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed whilst playing in Russia.

The 25 year old attacker has played just one game for Leicester City this season, which came against Sheffield United in the EFL Cup.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel recently suggested Musa will leave the Premier League side in this window, and with the World Cup this summer the player may need to find a club which can give him more playing time.
