Valencia are considering cancelling Largie Ramazani’s loan from Leeds United and potentially replacing him with Jack Harrison.
That’s according to El Desmarque. They cover Valencia today and various transfers and players they’re looking at in the January transfer window.
Ramazani is one of the players who needs to be assessed. He joined Valencia on loan from Leeds United in the summer but has never been a starter. In fact, he’s played in just 12% of the available minutes to date.
They say he is a player who is ‘injured, inconsistent, never a starter’ and he’s ‘neither here nor expected to be’. In other words, he’s very much not in Valencia’s plans now or in the near future.
In fact, the Spanish side are considering cutting his loan from Leeds short now. They’re already exploring the market for replacements. That search has brought up names like Jack Harrison, who has been linked in recent weeks.
Either way, they say that ‘he will not remain’ when discussing Ramazani. It appears that he has completely failed to impress Carlos Corberan and co and now they want rid this month, if they can manage it.
Leeds United player at chaos club

This may not all be a bad mark against Largie Ramzani himself.
Valencia have been something of a basket case club for years. They currently themselves in La Liga’s relegation zone, 18th out of 20 teams.
Corberan performed something of a rescue act to save them from relegation last season. The manager himself was linked to Leeds United in November but managed to steady the Valencia ship.
Now he’s being criticised from all quarters and is on the verge of the sack. That club situation is worth keeping in mind when judging Ramzani, and when deciding whether to send Harrison there.
Valencia will quite happily chew up loan players and then spit them out.
