Like plenty of clubs, the summer transfer window is likely to be an extremely busy one for Everton.

The Blues need something of an overhaul, something which is supposed to have been offered to Carlo Ancelotti, and so signings will be needed.

Naturally, with Ancelotti in charge, there has been plenty of speculation that he may go back to his former club Napoli to look for reinforcements for Everton.

Hirving Lozano is one name that has been regularly linked, with several reports in Italy suggesting Everton would be at the front of the queue should Napoli look to sell the Mexican in the summer.

For most it is a move that would make sense, Everton need a right-winger, and he has a relationship with both Ancelotti and Director of Football Marcel Brands, who signed him for PSV Eindhoven.

It seems, though, that suggestions of a move may be a bit fanciful, with Italian journalist Raffaele Auriemma suggesting Ancelotti would be a stumbling block.

“Yes, these rumours have been going around for quite a while,” he told Radio Marte, relayed by TuttoNapoli.net.

“But players like Lozano, but also Zielinski, when they hear Ancelotti’s name, their hair stands on end.

“It’s hard to imagine a transfer to a team coached by Ancelotti.”
