Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs who are interested in the Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilón.

The information is brought by Spanish outlet ABC, who reports that over ten clubs have been in touch for the signing, with the Gunners interest appearing ‘in recent weeks’.

Reguilón is currently having a loan spell at Sevilla, and ABC’s story is mostly focused on the little chances the La Liga side will have to hold the player for longer.

The huge competition makes the transfer a lot more difficult, especially because even Real Madrid may want to keep Reguilón for next season.

It’s said Zinedine Zidane would like to see the player in pre-season, and in case they decide to let him go, they’d favour a deal which would allow Real Madrid to buy him back.

Arsenal are named as one of these clubs who’ve been in touch for the signing, with ABC saying they ‘could lose Bukayo Saka’, and could use Reguilón as a replacement.

With Real Madrid still to take a decision regarding the sale, they haven’t set a price yet.
