The final details of Pedro Porro’s loan from Manchester City to Sporting are now being sorted, according to the Portuguese press.

Newspaper Record is the one reporting today that the deal between the clubs will not include a buying option for the Lisbon side.

They write that Pep Guardiola didn’t allow the clause to be included, since he sees the player as a potential piece for his squad in the future.

The manager is only letting Porro go on another loan now because he knows the player wouldn’t have many minutes while Kyle Walker and João Cancelo fight for a position in the team.

But Sporting are fine with it, since they think the player will be of great help, especially because he can play on both sides of the pitch.

Record writes that the loan is ‘practically agreed’, and should be concluded next week. Porro is currently having a loan spell at Real Valladolid and the clubs must wait until the end of the Spanish season so they can close the move.

The newspaper once again claims that this transfer is only possible because Manchester City and Sporting now have a partnership, and the player is also eager to play in Ruben Amorin’s tactical system.
