The Spanish media today highlights the interest that Wolves apparently have in players from Valencia.
This story started on Thursday, when the Mestalla side faced AZ Alkmaar in a friendly match. Back then, outlet El Desmarque featured a piece claiming a ‘a group of Wolverhampton scouts’ were watching the game, which was played behind closed doors.
There was not a lot of information about that scouting mission, but the Molineux side were the only club named as ‘exceptional witnesses’, despite the mention to representatives from the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
It turns out Wolves’ visit is now highlighted in another story, this time about Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah.
As the very same El Desmarque features an article about the player’s performance against AZ Alkmaar, they highlight that his good plays in that game were seen ‘with big attention’ by Wolves’ scouts.
The story also points out that with Julen Lopetegui’s arrival at the Molineux, it’s possible that the Premier League club will start following La Liga more closely.
For now, there’s no information if Wolves are actually interested in Yunus Musah, even though that visit could represent something for the future.
