Oliver Glasner won’t be leaving Crystal Palace for the Bundesliga this summer, as he’s destined for a big job in the Premier League instead.

That’s according to journalist Peter Linden, who insists that Glasner is focused on Crystal Palace and continuing his good work there.

He explains that the current focus for Glasner is on the final day clash with Liverpool. He wants to win that game, get ‘revenge’ for a previous defeat and finish the campaign with a ‘crowning’ end in the process.

He will then head into a busy summer in which he will have practically no vacation time as he is preoccupied with ‘personnel planning’ for next season. His focus is very much on Crystal Palace.

According to Linden, any reports, particularly from the German media, that he could be about to depart for RB Leipzig are wide of the mark.

He instead insists that Glasner’s future lies in the Premier League and if he were to leave Crystal Palace, he would move to a top English club. Tottenham had been heavily linked, but they’ve just won the Europa League and may be unlikely to sack Ange Postecoglou now.

That will surely come as good news for Crystal Palace, with Glasner seemingly happy where he is and not interested in a return to Germany.
